Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees Limited (Tasmanian Perpetual
Trustees) is a major Tasmanian based provider of financial products
and trustee services. Established in 1887, Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees
is publicly listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees is a trustee company
authorised under the Tasmanian Trustee Companies Act 1953 and is the
only private trustee company currently authorised to operate in Tasmania.
Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees also holds an approval
from the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) to act
as the Trustee of Superannuation Funds as well as an Australian Financial
Services Licence (AFSL) No. 234630 issued by the Australian Securities
and Investments Commission (ASIC).
Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees manages over $1.3 billion in funds under management on behalf of personal, business and wholesale investors in Tasmania. Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees also has a further $1.2 billion of assets under advice, through the Company's role as financial advisor, attorney or trustee on behalf of various trusts, estates and other clients.
Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees employs over 100 staff
located in nine branches and offices in the major population centres
across Tasmania. The organisation is structured around four Divisions,
these being:
- Distribution Division (operates the sales
and service network)
- Asset Management Division (manages and monitors
all assets and investments)
- Corporate Services Division (provides support
services such as compliance and legal, taxation and accounting,
human resources and information technology) and
- Marketing Division (provides product, pricing,
promotional and customer communication support)
Our clients are able to benefit from a workforce

financial expertise, including the services of qualified financial
planners. Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees was established to be an impartial
and professional Executor and Trustee for Tasmanians and this remains
a core part of our service and reputation. This area is underpinned
by a long tradition of Estate Planning and Will preparation.
Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees is the product issuer
for a range of Managed Investment Funds and specialises in Cash and
Mortgage Funds. The Mortgage Funds enable Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees
to provide traditional trustee style first mortgage finance for rural,
commercial and business purposes.
Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees is also a 50/50
joint venture partner with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited in Tasmanian Banking Services,
a retail banking distribution company which operates from seven branches,
four of these being co-tenanted with Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees.
