The Board of Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees Limited (TPX) has pleasure in inviting you to attend on of the four Shareholder Information Sessions which will outline the key features and benefits of the proposed merger with MyState Financial.

Please note the dates, times and details below. Shareholders are requested to RSVP via phone or email at least 48 hours prior to each session in order to assist with the catering for the function.

The Boards of Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees and MyState Financial announced on Friday 10 October that they will unanimously recommend to their respective shareholders and members, a proposal for the businesses to come together and form a new and significant financial services Group based in Tasmania.

The proposal to bring together two of Tasmania’s largest and most successful financial service providers will enable us to broaden the range of products and services available to you while maintaining as a core part of the combined group, the full range of financial, lending and investment services, including our traditional trustee and executor services.

The long term interests of our customers are paramount and you can rest assured the standards of responsible governance and management will be maintained.

The Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees brand name will also be retained and we will continue to provide services in all areas where we currently operate.

Both Tasmanian Perpetual Trustee shareholders and MyState Financial members will be asked to vote on the proposal in August 2009. However, please be assured that we will preserve and strengthen the special relationship we have with our customers and will continue to provide the same exceptional personal service you have come to expect of us.
